Dr. Peters is Board Certified physician in Family Medicine.  He did his undergraduate training at the University of Michigan and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree 1976.  He attended Wayne State University where he graduated with a Medical Degree with distinction in 1980.  His Family Medicine residency was completed at Oakwood Hospital 1983.  Dr. Peters currently holds the position of Chief of Staff at Beaumont Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn .  He is also a member of American Academy of Family Physicians, Michigan Academy of Family Physicians, Michigan State Medical Society, Wayne County Medical Society, and a Member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Peters was listed as a “Mom Approved Doctor” in Metro Parent Magazine in 2012.
