Dr. Jackson is Board Certified in Family Medicine.  He did his undergraduate training at the University of Michigan and received his Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology / Zoology.  He went on to attend Wayne State University School of Medicine and received his degree of Medical Doctor in 1982.  Dr. Jackson completed his residency at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn Michigan.  Dr. Jackson has been in practice since 1985 and with Western Wayne Physicians since 1996.  He is on staff at Beaumont Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn and Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital.

Dr. Jackson is a member of the American Medical Association, Michigan State Medicial Society, Wayne County Medical Society, American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Sports Medicine and the American College of Physician Executives.

Dr. Jackson has been very active outside his practice.  He was industrious in leading the formation of 2 Independent Primary Care Physician Associations and is currently the Medical Director of one of the Associations.  He is also a representative on numerous Hospital Committees both for Oakwood Hospital and H.F. Wyandotte Hospital and has been Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at H. F. Wyandotte Hospital.  He is actively the Medical Staff Representative of H. F. Wyandotte Hospital for Michigan State Medical Society and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Jackson is married with 3 daughters all in college.  Along with being active in his church he enjoys playing hockey, kayaking, traveling and spending time with his family.
