Dr. Nester is Board Certified in Family Medicine.  She did her undergraduate training at Wayne State University and received a Bachelor of Arts in German.  She went on to attend Wayne State University School of Medicine and received her degree of Medical Doctor in 1993.  Dr. Nester completed her residency at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn Michigan where she was the Chief Resident.  She has been at Western Wayne Physicians since 1996.  She is on staff at Beaumont Hospital and Medical Center Dearborn and Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital.

Dr. Nester is a member of the American Medical Association, Michigan State Medical Society, Wayne County Medical Society and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Nester is married and has two adult sons. She enjoys cooking, gardening and hiking.
